Film restoration describes a series of ongoing efforts to stop decaying process and creating a specific version of the film in which all digitised frames are compared, to ensure the best quality.

USECASE

We provided film restoration services for a large number of famous films held by a national film archive, including animated films and documentaries. Our efficient and professional service systematically repaired damages present in the film material, cleaned traces of dirt and removed damages and scratches. Digital films were restored and optimised by applying image stabilisation, color grading and color correction. This was followed by reframing to modern formats and applying digital image enhancements, before creating Master Video and DSM formats according to the client’s specific requirements. These famous films are now restored, digitised, guaranteed to last into the future and can be re-used and repurposed, creating significant value for the archive.
