Digitization of Natural, Cultural and Historical Heritage

Studio 727

Digitization of Natural, Cultural and Historical Heritage PLUG-IN PARTNER

Our team of experts carefully evaluates each project and selects the most appropriate scanning method to ensure the best results. We work closely with our clients to plan the production process and make sure that we can deliver leading-quality outputs. We can also handle large-scale projects that require scanning thousands of images while achieving high-level detail and accuracy. We use georeferencing technology to deliver precise mapping of an object’s physical characteristics matching its precise geographic location. We also measure material attributes and use color calibration to ensure accurate color representation. We deliver digitization services to our partners from the cultural heritage and public sector as well as the film industry, corporate clients or private individuals around the world.

Our range of DIGITIZATION SERVICES utilizes a combination of photogrammetry and Lidar scanning to deliver exceptionally accurate and detailed 3D models and environments. We offer a comprehensive range of services to fully suit your digitization needs.

01. Advanced SCANNING Technology

We have experience scanning a wide range of subjects, including cultural and historical monuments such as the Taj Mahal in India, or Agora - Omega House in Athens. We have also scanned museal artifacts and collections for over 30 museums in Slovakia, France, or India. Our expertise extends to scanning natural environments and landscapes, such as Neist Point in Scotland, the Tatra mountains in Slovakia, or Bhimbetka in India.

Our technology includes photogrammetry, lidar scanning,

gigapixel panoramas, orthomosaic scanning, object materials measurement, 360 HDR environment

When processing digital data of a real-world object, our goal is to preserve as much detail as possible. Naturally, the processing workflow may differ depending on a particular project

capturing, and georeferencing.

02. DATA Processing

We use a variety of cutting-edge equip ment, including digital cameras, drones, motion controls, motion capture systems, custom scanning rigs, lidar scanners, full-body scanning systems, light dome RTI systems, and GNNS equipment.

and the scanned objects, however, certain attributes are important across all datasets.

These include the type and color of the materials that make up the scanned object, preservation of the actual scale, and infor mation about the lighting conditions during scanning. The data recorded during the scanning phase serves as the basis for our data processing team to calibrate the model. Creating a truly comprehensive digital world requires handling a large number of elements, such as buildings, roads, sidewalks, traffic lights, benches, bus stops, stairs, and potentially even vehicles. One of our AAA-computer games features Amsterdam city center of (the Oude Kerk church) as an environment that we have worked on, showcasing our capabilities in this field. We ensure a high level of attention paid to every detail throughout the entire creative workflow, crafting digital assets such as • props , vehicles, machinery, furniture, food, clothes, animals, etc.; • characters , whole figures, or body parts such as faces, hands, legs, etc. and • environments , city streets, mountain ranges, buildings, countryside, etc.

Generating a precise 3D model of a complex environment is a multifaceted process that requires taking several factors into conside ration. We are talking about conducting light studies, measuring material and color properties and taking other essential mea surements. Integrating all said elements is crucial in creating a precise and lifelike representation of any given environment.
